Cars, buses and trucks are crashing in Montreal since it is so slippery

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/dec/06/mayhem-montreal-snow-buses-cars-trucks-crash

Hi! Today i went on theguardian.com, i found an article about the roads being so slippery that cars, buses and trucks slips, they crashes in to each other. Even the police cars cant drive properly, they slips and glide. This is in Montreal, where it is very snowy now. This can be very dangerous, specially with the buses since they are so big and heavy so they can hit everyone that are close.
There are a video in the article that shows when buses, cars and trucks crash into each other, and you can see that the drivers cant control where they slide since its so slippery so they cant stop it either.

Plain crash in Columbia, six survivors

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-38152105

Today i read a article on bbc.com about a plain crash in Columbia. There was 77 on the plain, 21 of them where journalist. Only six survived, three of the survivors was football players. The plain ran out of gas and then crashed in a mountainous area. The amount of people on the plain was first to been said was 81, but there was four people that did not border.

It is so sad when things like this happens, so many innocent died because of one little mistake that is dangerous for others, which killed most of the people on this plain.

Married policeman froze to death while faking his suicide

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3981604/Married-policeman-froze-death-deserted-moorland-trying-stage-manage-fake-suicide-attempt-inquest-hears.html

Hi! Today I went on dailymail.co.uk and found a article about a married policeman, and father of three. Before the incident happened he was described by friends that he had been "totally out of character", he had sent messages to his wife and one of his sons that made them fear for his safety. Later he was found in Peak District National Park with a small lair of clothes on, there was also a empty whiskey bottle and painkillers next to him. But there was not been found alcohol in his body or an dangerous amount of painkillers in his body. He faked a suicide that was supposed to rescue him, like a call for help, but it ended tragic since he froze to death because of the cold and his amount of clothes.

I will say this is a tragic accident, he was asking for help on a dangerous but discreet way that ended with him killing himself. He wanted to fake his suicide and sent messages to his family so they would get worried and find him "dead" so he could get help. Since he was a cop, his colleges should have known something was wrong since they work with a few cases like this. And since his friends knew that he was not himself at this point they should have helped it and talked to him.

Undocumented are in danger to be sent to their home country because of the new president

Hello.
http://www.thetimesinplainenglish.com/the-undocumented-are-holding-their-breath/

Today i read an article about undocumented people that are lot legal resident but can stay in the US for a certain time. This a something Barak Obama decided when he was president, and now when Donald Trump is president he will send them to their home country. He will cancel Obama´s orders. I think this is very unnecessary since they have lived in the US longer than in their home country, so they are a part of the US and should not be sent to another country. If Hilary won the election she would neither have sent them home, she would have followed some of the laws Obama made.

60% of women will die of cancer by 2030

Hello.

Today i read an article about cancer deaths is rising with 60% among women by 2030. This is mainly because breast cancer.
I find this very scary, that 60% will die of cancer by 2030. 2030 is not so long to, and i will say cancer already is a problem, so when most women will die of it is extremely scary to think about if someone in my family or myself would get cancer that there are little chance that you will survive. But i have my hopes up, since scientist are working with finding a cure that will make you cancer free right away instead of going through the long treatment that just maybe will help. And when they say that 60% of most women will die of cancer by 2030 its very important they find a cure.

Timberlakes selfie was ilegal

Hello.

Today i read an article including Justin Timberlake, Timberlake flew from LA to his hometown Memphis to vote for the election.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-37770262

In the article we read that Timberlake took a selfie while he was voting, he posted the picture on instagram and wrote "Hey! You! Yeah, YOU! I just flew from LA to Memphis to #rockthevote !!!! No excuses, my good people! There could be early voting in your town too. If not, November 8th! Choose to have a voice! If you don´t. then we  cant HEAR YOU! Get out and vote." Because of this picture on instagram Timberlake got spared a brush with the law. In Tennessee it became illegal to take photos inside polling locations in 2015.

Timberlake did not take a picture of who he voted for. I cant see why its so bad that Timberlake posted a selfie inside the polling location on instagaram, I will say he did it to encourage others to also vote. Since he is a so known and famous artist an actor he will encourage his fans to vote. There are alot of young people that wont vote since they are to lazy or just dont care about it. But when they see that their idol is voting, they will consider to vote anyway.

Bob Dylan "disappears" after winning the Nobel Prize in literature.

Hello.

Today i red an article about Bob Dylan, this thursday Dylan won the Nobel prize in literature and since this he have not been able to be in touch with him.

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/oct/17/nobel-prize-bob-dylan-unable-to-reach

The Swedish Academy say they have given up on trying to reach Bob Dylan. Some say it is because of his long-time reputation for perversity, or persistence in forging his own path. Dylan is the first songwriter to win the literature prize, so it is a big honor and special for him to win this nobel prize therefor it is weird that nobody can get in touch with him.

Every 10 december nobel prize winners are invited to Stockholm to receive their awards from King Carl XVI Gustaf, I feel it would we disrespectfully for Dylan to not show up to this. People are counting on him.

I hope we hear from him before this distribution of the prize, he have after all won a Nobel Prize.

Syrian children go to work instead of school.

Hello.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37415693
Today I read an article about some Syrian children that have to work to provide themselves and their family. We meet 15 year old Kamel that work on a shoe factory with his younger brother. He and his brother is a Syrian refugee from across the border. Kamel works 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and earn 250 turkish lira ($84) each week. He send 150 turkish lira to his family and keep 100 for him and his brother.

We also meet Hussein from Aleppo, which is 12 years old. He also work in a factory, but he works with machines that are dangerous and health damaging. He and his family had to move to Turkey since his hometown Aleppo was under bombing attack, under this action his father was injured and are unable to work. This is why Hussein has to work, too earn money to the family since the father can not do it him self.

These to boys have in common that they both went to school before, they did great in school and was intelligent. But they both had to choose work above school to support their family with money to provide them and for other necessary stuff.

It is so sad that children like them have to work to earn money for their whole family. When children are so small like Kamal and Hussein which is only 15 and 12, they are incapable to provide an entire family. They should go to school to get an adduction so they have an possibility to get a good paid job when they get older, and to have a future.

Death from overwork.

Hello.

Today i reed this article i found on bbc.com (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20160912-is-there-such-thing-as-death-from-overwork). The article is a about death from overwork and how common this is in Japan.

The Japanese have a term called karoshi, which translate as "death by overwork". If your death reason was karoshi your family will receive an amount of money on $ 20 000 each year from the state and up too $1.600.000 payouts from the company.

In the article we hear about several people that died of karoshi, one man we hear much about is Kenji Hamada. Hamada was an employee at a Tokyo security company, his weeks was based on 15-hours days and a 4 hour long stretch to get to work. One day he was found laying on his desk, his associates thought Hamada was asleep until several hours later they saw he was dead. Hamada died of a heart attack. This was a man at the age of 42 with a wife and a good work ethic, he was good in his job and stood by it.

After the defeat of the second world war was the Japanese worked the longest hours in the world by far, they where workaholics of the highest order. This is why karoshi is so common in Japan.
